Manufacturer Warranty

Many products sold by GQSBIKE are covered by a warranty supplied directly by the manufacturer.

When a manufacturer warranty applies:

  • The manufacturer determines coverage.

  • The manufacturer may require product registration.

  • Claims may need to be submitted directly to the manufacturer.

  • An authorized service provider may need to inspect the product.

  • GQSBIKE may assist by providing order records and general claim guidance.

  • The manufacturer makes the final warranty decision.

Manufacturer warranty periods and remedies vary. GQSBIKE cannot extend, modify, or replace a manufacturer’s written warranty unless we expressly agree in writing.

Warranty Start Date

Unless the applicable warranty states otherwise, coverage generally begins on the original retail purchase date shown on the customer’s receipt or order confirmation.

Keep your:

  • Order-confirmation email.

  • Purchase receipt.

  • Product serial number.

  • Original warranty document.

  • Service and maintenance records.

  • Product registration confirmation.

These records may be required to establish warranty eligibility.

Who Is Eligible?

Unless the applicable warranty states otherwise, warranty coverage generally applies to the original purchaser and requires valid proof of purchase.

Coverage for second-hand, transferred, commercial, rental, or demonstration products depends on the specific manufacturer’s terms.

What May Be Covered?

Subject to the applicable written warranty, coverage may include defects in materials or workmanship that existed during the warranty period under normal and intended use.

A valid remedy may include:

  • Inspection.

  • Technical diagnosis.

  • Repair.

  • Replacement components.

  • Product replacement.

  • Another remedy stated in the applicable warranty.

The warrantor determines the appropriate remedy after reviewing the claim.

What Is Generally Not Covered?

Unless the applicable warranty expressly states otherwise, coverage generally does not include:

  • Normal wear and tear.

  • Cosmetic damage that does not affect function.

  • Damage caused by accidents or impact.

  • Improper assembly or installation.

  • Misuse, abuse, neglect, or overloading.

  • Unauthorized repairs or modifications.

  • Racing, competition, stunt, rental, or commercial use.

  • Failure to follow operating or safety instructions.

  • Inadequate maintenance.

  • Corrosion, water damage, or environmental exposure.

  • Damage caused by incompatible accessories or components.

  • Shipping or transportation damage after customer receipt.

  • Products with removed, altered, or unreadable serial numbers.

  • Products purchased from an unauthorized seller.

  • Labor, transportation, or diagnostic charges unless expressly covered.

  • Consumable or wear components unless a manufacturing defect is confirmed.

Wear Components

Components that naturally wear during normal use may not be covered unless the applicable warranty confirms a manufacturing defect.

Examples may include:

  • Tires and tubes.

  • Brake pads.

  • Chains.

  • Belts.

  • Cables.

  • Bearings.

  • Grips.

  • Seats.

  • Bulbs.

  • Fuses.

  • Filters.

  • Lubricants.

  • Cosmetic finishes.

  • Other consumable components.

Normal replacement caused by use or maintenance is not the same as a manufacturing defect.

Battery Warranty

Battery coverage, when applicable, is governed by the warranty supplied with the battery or product.

Battery capacity may naturally decrease over time and through repeated charging cycles. Normal capacity reduction is generally not considered a defect unless the applicable written warranty states otherwise.

Battery claims may be excluded when damage results from:

  • Using an incompatible charger.

  • Improper charging or storage.

  • Water exposure.

  • Impact or puncture.

  • Extreme temperatures.

  • Unauthorized opening or modification.

  • Failure to follow battery instructions.

  • Long-term storage without required maintenance.

Do not ship a damaged, swollen, leaking, overheated, or recalled battery without approved instructions.

  • Make diagnosis more difficult.

  • Cause additional damage.

  • Affect warranty eligibility.

  • Create a safety concern.

GQSBIKE is not responsible for unauthorized repair charges.

When a return is approved:

  • Use the authorized return address.

  • Remove prohibited or hazardous items when instructed.

  • Retain proof of shipment.

Original packaging should be kept whenever possible.

Warranty Decisions and Remedies

The manufacturer or applicable warrantor determines whether a claim is covered.

If approved, the remedy may be limited to repair or replacement of the affected component. A full product replacement or refund is provided only when required by the applicable warranty or law.

Replacement products or components may be new, refurbished, or functionally equivalent where permitted by the warranty.

Repair Time

Repair and replacement times depend on:

  • Product type.

  • Parts availability.

  • Manufacturer response.

  • Shipping time.

  • Inspection requirements.

  • Authorized service availability.

We will provide available updates, but we cannot guarantee a completion date controlled by a manufacturer or service provider.

Safety Concerns

Stop using the product immediately if it:

  • Appears unsafe.

  • Has a damaged structural component.

  • Produces smoke or an unusual odor.

  • Has a swollen or leaking battery.

  • Has damaged wiring.

  • Has a malfunction affecting safe operation.

  • Is included in an official stop-use notice.

Contact GQSBIKE and follow any manufacturer or government safety instructions.

Legal Rights

This page does not exclude, restrict, or replace any implied warranty or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.

State laws vary, and customers may have additional rights. A manufacturer’s written warranty may provide coverage beyond the information summarized here.
